Author bio:
Kathy Kolbe is an acclaimed theorist, bestselling author, entrepreneur, educator, organizational strategist, consultant and speaker, and is the founder of Kolbe Corp and the Center for Conative Abilities. She is considered to be the world's leading authority on human instincts and conation* and has dedicated her life to helping people to find the freedom to be themselves through understanding and using their conative abilities. The author of multiple research studies, Kolbe has proven her long-held theory that conation is a third faculty of the brain. Additionally, over 750,000 case studies have tested and validated her theories on the inherent, instinctive nature of human conation. Kolbe's work has earned her widespread recognition and awards. She has authored a number of assessment and performance tools used across the world by business, schools, families and individuals, including the Kolbe Aâ„¢ Index, the only valid and reliable assessment tool for measuring an individual's method of operation (M.O.) within the conative faculty of the brain. Kolbe's motivation for her life's work is rooted in her own cognitive challenges. A severe dyslexic, she discovered early on that instinctive, purposeful action could trump any learning disability. Additionally, in midlife Kolbe survived a near-fatal car accident that left her unable to perform simple cognitive tasks. Rather than focusing on what was lacking, Kolbe relied on deep-rooted conative instincts to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. *Conation is the faculty of the brain that drives you to take purposeful action according to your instincts. Conative abilities are the natural, inherent and unchanging talents that, when acted on, lead to success and well-being as you use your creative energy to solve problems.

Mind, Time and Power! by Anthony Hamilton Mind, Time and Power! by Anthony Hamilton Jan. 28, 2012 $8.99 51387 words Sample 30%
Author bio:
Anthony is a former professor of communications at Capilano University in North Vancouver, BC. Canada. At the age of ten he had a dream in which he saw his future in advance. As events began to come true, he spent the better part of two decades investigating how this type of precognitive event could happen, making it possible to receive information from the future. He eventually discovered that this is a perfectly natural ability which everyone has. However, it generally lies undiscovered and unused. The key to unlocking and developing this power is to make definite decisions about the kind of future you wish to experience. This explains why beliefs become self-fulfilling prophesies, and why people with goals become very intuitive. They generally talk about receiving "hunches". It is really their future selves communicating with them. His book, Mind, Time and Power! describes this discovery and gives detailed instructions in how to develop and use this ability to transform one's life and create the future of one's choice.

My professional background includes various stints in marketing, including financial and communication services until I made the shift in 1986 to working full-time in my other great passion-metaphysics and the mind-body connection. I worked as a Certified Hypnotherapist, ran metaphysical symposium, and created the New England Institute of Hypnotherapy which I have been operating since 1998. In the last couple of years, I have written several books now in varying stages of completion, intending to self-publish them . Completing and publishing them is now my highest priority. I have set myself the daunting goal of getting them published by the end of the year, in print and in ebook formats. I am in the process of getting that done !

When considering my work I would have to say that my mission is to help survivors in transforming their lives. I teach strategies to wounded souls that free themselves from the bonds of painful and hurtful life events as well as war experiences that hinder the success in their relationships and business. One of my most proud accomplishments has been the creation of a specialized method called the Rapid Reduction Technique® or RRT which helps people quickly make closure with troubling, intrusive or traumatic memory through shifting the connected core beliefs and associated emotions. As I speak of growth to my clients I too have continued to grow and have improved the original RRT to what I call RRT 2.0 an even more affective approach to healing traumatic memory. I offer CDs and DVDs where I teach my principles behind the Rapid Reduction Technique® (RRT) step by step, along with 4 demonstrations to assist anyone in learning and completing the technique at home. I have self published my book, Separated From the Light: A Path Back from Psychological Trauma. In this book I describe the effects of abuse, trauma and overwhelming life experiences that those events have on humans within a story of a survivor. The second half of the book explains my theories, principles and method for helping individuals understand the stages of survival and that recovery is possible. My formal education as a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, certifications and a hypnotherapist as well as a reality therapist allowed me to learn from some of the best in the country. It wasn’t until I went back to school to gain my certifications for certified master life coach, certified holistic addiction recovery coach that I was able to open myself to a new conciseness of thinking. I feel that all a person needs to achieve a more successful life is to learn new life skills, disconnect from their past, regain their personal authority and re-establish a relationship with self and not look back.
