"Taking fantasy in a completely unique direction." This is what J. Dean intends to do with the Vein series. Instead of following the tried and true methods and paths of familiar fantasy mythos, he created an original world for an epic story. From his Michigan residence, he captures the fantasy world of the Vein (and other stories) and imprisons them upon paper, until the day when the words are set free by the imagination of those willing to read them. The Vein series is J. Dean's first venture into serious writing, and he hopes that you will join him on the twists and turns of this ride that is part excitement, part drama, part terror, and all adventure.

Depressional Thoughts by Kennie Kayoz Depressional Thoughts by Kennie Kayoz July 14, 2011 Free! 3744 words Read a sample
Author bio:
Take 333-parts poetry and 333-parts of hate you get Kennie Kayoz: the perfect lethal combination of poetry and hate, whom himself has been labeled as 666 by his high school whom according to them should have spent time in the psych ward for things that he's said and poetry written while at school. Like the meaning of his name Kennie feels as if he's been born from the fire time and time again, and has been through various points in his life that have been utter kayotic. However he emerged from everything that life has seemed to throw at him many eBooks later Kennie is still looking at getting his name out there. Feeling unwanted by everyone around him since the age of 16, Kennie has not had an easy life which carries out into everything he does with an obvious edge. What he writes is real, and is what gives his words a distinction of others. The once #1 target of bullying at high school which started his controversial writing skills which really got him noticed by his teacher and principal when during a co-op class he wrote about being bullied from the moment he walked in the front doors at school in the morning till the moment that he gets off the bus at night the school was then set into "panic mode" as they then linked Kennie as a "Potential Threat" of pulling a "Columbine". They also pushed Kennie towards the schools psychologist to allow him someone to "Talk To", shortly after that Kennie found himself walking out of the doors never to return. After many trials and tribulations in his life after he dropped out he still managed to write on and off as his writing became an eerie prophecy for his own life. In late 2005 Kennie signed Crystal to Coyotes Publishing and just a few months later Kennie's struggles got worse as his father was killed by vehicular homicide. At the start of 2006 Kennie decided to take a huge chance with his poe-hatery as he established the ebook called "End Of The Poe-Hatery Era" in which he gathered up all that could be considered "Poe-Hatery" and released it followed that he went on to realize that "Poe-Hatery" was exactly who he was so he decided to take another huge chance and release "Be Yourself" a eBook with collabs by various independent artists (in various genres) as well as other independent poets and he released it it got a huge variety of notice all through out the internet, but when Kennie realized that he was the only one plugging it and none of the other artists were doing anything about the release he immediately pulled the release off of the internet. Shortly after that Coyotes Publishing as well as Kennie vanished from the likes of the internet.

Spargo Postle has roamed and meandered his way through life watching and listening to the nations of people that exist around him. Thoughts & Emotion was the first set of poems to be published and was created as Spargo realised that we all have similar Thoughts and Emotion whilst we encounter a myriad of experiences. Why Don't You See Me is drawn from the loneliness witnessed in the people Spargo sees all around his world. Being lonely, or simply withdrawn, seems to be considered as an unseen virus that few people dare to speak out about else they become infected. Spargo Postle feels that poetry is no more than capturing a string of thoughts onto paper, so feel free to leave your thoughts in a review. But then if you would rather just read his work and browse on by, so be it.

Hola! Heeheehee, hey! My names' Sammi! Well ... it's REALLY Samantha. but, you might have already guessed that. YOU WANT MY BIO?!?!?! here you go! :D The first book I ever read was Black Beauty. And, honestly...I HATED it. Now that I look back, it really wasn't bad at all. When i think about it, I'm pretty sure that the only reason I didn't like it was because it wasn't... young (?) enough. Then I read A Wrinkle In Time. It was okkay, but still not my style, ya know? Then, like a moon shining through the clouds, a book descended on me. Dragon Rider, by Cornelia Funke. And that was the catalyst for me. Now, instead of hating books, I LOVE THEM! hahaha. Writing is kind of a different story. I never really liked it, but I didn't hate it either. Then, a couple of years ago, in the sixth grade, I wrote a report. I chose to write a "journal" from the....it was during the revolution...and it had the Boston Massacre in it. Whatever,( XD ) so He made me read a couple of my journal entries. He looked really impressed, but didn't say any thing. Later, I got the report back, nd what he said astounded me. He told me i had the makings for a real author. Honestly, i think he was just being kind to me. There were TONS of grammar, punctuation, and tense crap. I look back at it thinking, "It's a good start!" Because, that IS what started me actually writing. Well, thats all you really need to know... XD ~Sammi :D

Growing up as KJ wasn't the easiest thing in the world, much of what happened to him growing up still affects him much of him today. Nothing is worse than the mental scarring he was forced to face during his days in high school, we all have our own stories about what we go through at high school however when you go through elementary school and end up having many friends who stick by you and who you are close with turn there backs on you as soon as grade 9 rolls around, not only does that put you in an awkward position of thinking that you know someone to now thinking that they are only out for themselves your whole world changes. Through the beginning of high school KJ realized that all of his friends in elementary school changed, but not changed for the better or grown up as it appeared that you were suppose to do but changed to not wanting to know him. Approaching many of his old friends in the halls only to realize that they wouldn't even respond to him or even look his way when he talked. Not only did they do that but they also set up many of the verbal assaults that were targeted at KJ through the years of high school, at times they would act like they were his friends from old days only to line him up for a verbal assault from not just one but many students, these assaults wouldn't just go last one or two minutes but they would last for the full day, once 3:00 came around did these assaults end ?, not a chance as he would have to endure them on the bus both going and coming to school each and everyday these assaults would last through the rest of his high school days. After dropping out of high school did these assaults have any affect on him, well yes of course they did as they were many of the mental scars that he has to bare today, paranoid to do many things in front of people or even to talk in front of them always fearing in which they will lash out much similar to what he has gone through in the past, KJ spent much of his time from high school just being quiet growing up in a small town not saying much to anyone. He never did think much about the future as he never thought he did have one, till he picked up a pen and started to write. It was his only way of telling his story to the world about the troubles of his past, although like most writers he doesn't always choose to write about his past as he doesn't like to talk about it. But when he does you can rest assure that the talent that he does posses will truly shine through the mental scars that have affected him through his life as he's sure that many people will be able to not only feel but understand what he has gone through in the past.
Dear Critic... by Spargo Postle Dear Critic... by Spargo Postle Oct. 28, 2010 Free! 290 words Read a sample
