WHAT IS WORSE?

WORKING OR EATING AT MC DONALDS

Working at McDonald's

There are many good and bad sides of working at McDonald's.

The good side is that a person can rely on consistent income every week or fortnight. They don't have to wrestle with a greedy boss in order to get a good wage. They just go to work, go home, the hours are added up, the value is given, and bam! Pay goes into the desired bank account.

The good side is that the place offers a valuable learning environment for those who need to develop skills. It doesn't matter how old you are, if you are in need of skills and training then you are more likely then not to learn heaps with a training plan, or even just on the job skills development. Sometimes you are even given institutional support and outside learning, in order to keep you up to scratch for the job position you have been stapled in.

The bad side is that McDonald's relies on animal slaughter in order to create a large majority of its products. For those who are aware and concerned by such matters, the job will kind of make you shriek inside your skin when you are preparing food that have large quantities of animal meat inside their dishes. When you are on the job, the work needs to be done well in seconds and not minutes. You will grit your teeth when you see the seconds dance on by, and the food flowing down the racks for serve like water.

The bad side is that McDonald's work is tough. The cook has the worst duty yet, and they are always at risk of getting burned by oil and such. People who have ignored legislation, and done their job in their own style, have lost fingers and limbs on this position. It can get pretty tough.
