Caribbean Passion

Kym walked home one afternoon. The sky was dark grey, and she shivered inside her clothes. She grew a little tense as she wondered if the rain would fall down, and she began to pace her steps in order to get to home a lot quicker then the normal rate.

Rain began to fall after a crack of lightning broke the ice, and Kym shivered as she paced her steps through side-street puddles which became filled with water at the tip of a hat.

“I hate this kind of day!” she swore as she rounded a corner and met her home street.

Kym knit her brows and walked forwards a little more as she grumbled hot swears under her tight lips. She made it home in ten minutes, and she opened the front door with fingers that were numb and blue.

Kym raced inside like a cat who had been tipped in water and then let go. She raced to the bathroom and dropped her bag in a corner as she began to pat herself dry. She looked at her skin which looked gross and discoloured, and she began to grimace in disgust. Kym walked to her room with a towel crushed against her chest, and once there she stripped herself of her school uniform in order to put on a tracksuit combo which was snugly and warm. Kym smiled as she wheezed through blue tinged lips, and she slipped her cold feet into a pair of woollen slippers before she moved to the kitchen in order to get herself a hot drink.

Kym opened the pantry cupboard and grabbed the container of chocolate mix. She then put a pan on the stove, and warmed it up before she filled it with fresh cream milk. Kym watched the milk colour to warm brown as she sprinkled the chocolate mix in at leisure, and within moments she had a hot drink that was ready for the tasting.
